The CLT® Concept
The CLT® Concept (Coordinative Locomotor Training)
The CLT® is an unique hands on/hands off concept used as a tool in a personalized client approach to restore the client's stability, strength, coordination, mobility and pain relief. It is an innovation from PNF® Concept of Britta Dietz, IPNFA® Advanced Instructor. It works with the whole body in coordinative structures (sprinter/skater synergies and their combinations) through activities and gait. The CLT concept operates in coordinative synergies that are functional units or involuntary coordinations that take place on dominant pathways. Looking at daily and sports activities (whole body in action), Britta Dietz integrated implicit learning (without awareness of what has been learned) to help clients speed up problem solving and thus better body control in all sports and daily demands. By controlling the key points the muscle imbalance is solved and corrected. By changing the function of an individual segment in training/rehabilitation, the entire system is coordinated again. Facilitation has an impact on the whole person, and the goal is to achieve anti-gravity movement in every position, in all phases of motor control.
